Business Profile

I form part of the Malta Communications Authority’s senior management team and have been leading the External Relations function of the Authority since 2015. My role entails coordination of EU and international activity including participation in various fora assuming formal relations on behalf of the Authority with external entities. I also lead the Authority’s end-user function that enforces consumer protection as emanating from EU and national rules in the electronic communications and postal sector. I coordinate corporate communications and PR activity aimed at supporting the achievement of the Authority’s goals across all its operational disciplines. Prior to joining the MCA, I worked in public sector management consultancy for 15 years, delivering strategic advice to Government and project managing a large number of initiatives including operational and organisational reviews and audits; drafting of national strategies; auditing EU projects; and leading change management programmes such as euro changeover preparations in the public administration.
