Business Profile
I’m a graduate in BSc. Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research, commercially aware, with an incisive mind, good interpersonal skills, and an eye for detail. I am innovative and determined, with a diversified experience in multinational and national companies. I joined Malta Public Transport as Revenue Analyst in 2012. Three and half years later, I moved to General Soft Drinks (Marketing) Ltd as Business Analyst. In 2019, I joined The Convenience Shop Ltd as Group Financial Planning and Performance Analyst.
In line with the company’s re-structuring in July 2022, I was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for overseeing the objectives and implementation of all commercial strategies.
Amongst other responsibilities, I take the lead in detailing and defining policies followed by the company on a national and commercial level and make sure that they align with the business’s annual budget. I manage the Commercial Business Management (CBM) process in producing rolling forecasts, assessing gaps to the business’ strategic objectives and enabling interventions, and lead the Commercial Business Review meeting with the CEO and CFO to analyse and understand the key drivers of differences between the company’s budget and the business’s strategic objectives.
I establish key interventions and actions required to ensure “The Convenience Shop Group” stays on track to achieve its strategic objectives, and ensure that the Commercial Business Management process informs and feeds the Quarterly Forecasting, Annual Plan, and Five-Year Strategic Planning submissions.
Working with the Product Management team, I optimise product assortments and optimum margins, while leading the Marketing Team to innovate and understand better customer expectations. I also manage Franchise business development and ensure to maintain and excel Franchisee relationships.
