Business Profile

As Chief Commercial Officer of The Convenience Shop Ltd, I am responsible for overseeing the objectives and implementation of all the company’s commercial strategies and supporting the Group's growth ambitions.

After gaining diverse experience at national and multinational companies, I joined the business in 2019 as Group Financial Planning and Performance Analyst and was promoted to my current role in July 2022. Since then, I have taken the lead in detailing and defining policies followed by the company on a national commercial level, ensuring they efficiently align with the company’s vision.

I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research and am commercially savvy in view of the years spent within the industry. I have an incisive strategic mind, good interpersonal skills, innovative thinking, eye for detail, focused and determined.

Business Activities

  • Managing the Commercial Business Management (CBM) process in producing rolling forecasts, assessing gaps to the business’ strategic objectives and enabling interventions.
  • Leading the Commercial Business Review meeting with the CEO & CFO, to analyse and understand the key drivers of differences between the company’s budget and the business’ strategic objectives.
  • Establishing key interventions and actions required to ensure “The Convenience Shop Group” stays on track to achieve its strategic objectives.
  • Ensuring the Commercial Business Management process informs and feeds the Quarterly Forecasting, Annual Plan, and 5-year Strategic Planning submissions.
  • Creating a sustainable group Commercial Business Management process and toolset by leading continuous improvement, promoting best practice, whilst simplifying processes.
  • Leading the Product Management team to optimise product assortments and optimum margins.
  • Leading the Marketing Team to innovate and understand better customer expectations.
  • Managing Franchise business development and ensure to maintain and excel Franchisee relationship.
