As the Group General Manager – Malta Operations at Salvo Grima Group, I oversee our dynamic ship supply and professional tools retail teams , driving operational excellence and ensuring seamless service delivery across Malta.
Salvo Grima Ship Supply, a cornerstone of Malta’s maritime industry since 1860, is the leading local ship supplier known for meeting the diverse and urgent needs of vessels around the clock. Whether providing technical supplies or fresh produce, we deliver with precision and efficiency. Our advanced logistics capabilities, supported by a specialised fleet – including heavy load trucks, reefer/freezer vans, and offshore-certified containers – ensure we consistently meet the highest standards of service in the industry.
With over 25 years of experience in the maritime and shipping sector, I have developed deep expertise in operations, logistics, and business development. My career began in 1997 at Salvo Grima Ship Supplies, where I advanced through various roles, culminating in my position as Sales and Operations Manager.
After 13 years with Salvo Grima, I joined the Royal Caribbean Group as General Manager for several ship-owning and management companies within the group. During my 7-year tenure with RCL, I gained valuable insights into ship ownership and management.
In 2016, I returned to Salvo Grima Group as General Manager (Ship Supply), and in 2023, I assumed my current role as Group General Manager (Malta Operations).
Since 2021, I have driven the growth of our professional tools retail and distribution subsidiary, C&C Technik. Under my leadership, C&C Technik has grown into the exclusive national distributor for over 45 premium professional tool brands. The relocation of our retail stores to a new flagship outlet in Qormi has created a central hub for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike, featuring a dedicated tool repair and service centre with convenient parking facilities.
