Business Profile

I am a senior finance executive with over 30 years of leadership experience across manufacturing, aviation, and regulated industries. Throughout my career, I have focused on driving strategic transformation, strengthening governance, and delivering sustainable financial performance in complex and competitive environments.

I began my professional journey with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1988, where I developed a strong technical foundation in audit and advisory. I subsequently moved into industry, joining Trelleborg Malta as Financial Director, where I played a key role in the company’s transformation and positioning within the global automotive supply chain.

In 2011, I joined Air Malta as Chief Financial Officer as part of a restructuring programme, contributing to a significant turnaround that materially reduced the airline’s losses and stabilised its financial position. During this period, I also served as Chairman of the Malta Gaming Authority from 2008 to 2013, overseeing the development of one of Malta’s most strategically important industries and supporting its growth while maintaining robust regulatory standards.

Since 2014, I have served as Group Chief Financial Officer of Toly Group, a global leader in innovative packaging solutions for the beauty industry. As part of the executive leadership team, I have played a central role in shaping the Group’s financial strategy and governance framework, supporting its growth trajectory, including achieving a €100 million revenue milestone in 2019.

I also serve as an Executive Director and sit on several boards within the Group.

Beyond my corporate responsibilities, I have contributed actively to Malta’s business community. I served on the Council of The Malta Chamber from 2015 to 2025, including roles as Vice President from 2021 to 2023 and Deputy President from 2023 to 2025, helping shape policy and drive initiatives aimed at enhancing Malta’s competitiveness and business environment.
