Early in my career, I worked in various sales-related roles with local companies before joining Vodafone (Malta) in 2001. It was here that I developed a passion for the customer.
Besides my interest in gaming, I constantly looked for opportunities to combine my customer-centric skillset with my passion for gaming after leaving my position as Customer Support Senior at Vodafone, I joined the Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA), now the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), in 2014 as Player Support Officer. I was later appointed Player Support Manager in 2015 and subsequently Head of Player Support in 2018. My experience dealing with players was an eye opener to the plight of problem gambler.
In June 2021, I was tasked with heading the Responsible Gaming Foundation, where I aspire to bring a fresh sense of purpose and implement innovative approaches to promote responsible gaming and make the industry more sustainable.
