Carmen Fenech, the late Tumas Fenech’s daughter, passed away on Friday 24th May at the age of 71.

Ms Fenech was laid to rest on Monday (today) 27th May at St George’s parish church in Qormi.

Many remembered her for her core principles and her heart of gold.Ms Fenech was a shareholder of Tumas Group, alongside her siblings Leli, Ray, Moira, Anthony and former Chairman George Fenech, who passed away 10 years ago.

She formed part of the second generation of the Fenech family, being the daughter of Tumas Group Founder Tumas Fenech, a leading entrepreneur.

Facebook page ‘Dolmen Resort Malta Employees’ expressed its “sincere condolences to the Tumas Fenech family” for the loss.

Ms Fenech was formerly in charge of the group's Halland Hotel, a major development located in Ibraġġ that was built in the 1960s and 1970s.

The hotel is now set to be redeveloped into a residential complex.
