I’m a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in IT and management. For the past two decades, my passion has been transforming health and care through technology. What drives me is simple: finding real solutions that make services better for the people who need them most.

Before joining Healthcare Logistics Ltd, I served as Chief Information Officer at the Ministry for Health and the Ministry for Social Policy. In these roles, I worked on major national IT projects and also contributed towards international initiatives aimed at modernising healthcare. These experiences shaped my belief that technology, when applied thoughtfully, can have a real and lasting impact.

Today as Chief Executive Officer, I lead a passionate team that shares the same commitment to innovation and purpose. Together, we are focused on delivering smart, reliable technology that supports organisations, strengthens service delivery, and ultimately makes a difference in people’s lives.

Business Activities

2016-Present: Director of Operations, Energy Investment Ltd: Oversee strategic initiatives, partnerships, and large-scale project implementations, including the nationwide initiatives.
2018-Present: Chief Executive Officer, Healthcare Logistics Ltd: Lead overall company direction, driving sustainable growth, delivering innovative health IT solutions that support organisations in achieving digital transformation.

2000-2001: Consultant & Project Manager, PDK Investments Ltd: Advised organisations on business process automation and managed the design and deployment of internet-based portals with international partners.
2001-2003: IT Office Automation / IT Infrastructure Engineer, STMicroelectronics: Planned, configured, and supported network and server infrastructure to ensure resilient operations across office and production environments.
2003-2006: Technical Director / Project Manager, Softual Developments Co. Ltd: Directed technical operations and managed eBusiness projects, delivered solutions, and oversaw day-to-day business strategy and execution.
2003-2007: Lecturer / Programme Manager, MCAST, ICT Institute: Delivered IT education and managed academic programmes, ensured quality teaching, curriculum coordination, and student development.
2007-2014: Chief Information Officer, Ministry for Health & Ministry for Social Policy, Government of Malta: Provided IT strategic leadership to government, managed national health and social care ICT projects, including hospital and sector-wide systems.
2014-2018: Chief Information Officer, Healthcare Logistics Ltd: Shaped IT strategy and operations in health and elderly care, drove procurement, innovation, and implementation of enterprise-wide systems. Directed the organisation’s IT strategy and operations, oversaw the planning, implementation, and management of technology solutions to support business objectives and service delivery.

I have a strong academic and professional foundation in business management and information technology. I hold an MBA and a BSc in IT from the University of Malta, combining strategic leadership with technical expertise.
My studies combined technology, management, and organisational disciplines, complemented by continuous professional development in health IT, technology, and communications solutions.
