I founded HippoScripts Technologies after more than a decade building and leading data and technology capabilities, including as CTO and Lead Data Scientist at a commodities investment firm. That experience shaped a simple belief: AI creates real value only when built on trusted data, resilient systems and a clear understanding of how a business operates.

Today, HippoScripts designs data platforms, connects fragmented systems, builds analytics and AI solutions, and automates workflows for regulated and data-intensive organisations. As an ISO 27001-certified company, we combine engineering capability with the governance discipline required where reliability, security and auditability matter.

I also founded AperturesConnect, our operational and analytics platform for the window, door and glass industry, turning sector knowledge into scalable technology.

Alongside leading the company, I lecture in data science at the University of Malta, serve as an External Technical Expert with the Malta Digital Innovation Authority, and contribute to PyData, Microsoft Tech Talks and international industry events. My focus is practical: technology should strengthen decisions, operations and long-term competitiveness.
