Philosophy lecturer Anthony Spiteri has passed away aged 70.
Dr Spiteri graduated with a Ph.D. in Social and Political Thought at York University in Toronto, Canada back in 1992.
He joined the Philosophy Department at the University of Malta a year later and served there for around 25 years, first as Lecturer and then as Senior Lecturer.
He taught courses in the Philosophy of the Social Sciences, German Philosophy, the Modernism–Postmodernism Debate, and 20th-century philosophy more broadly.
The Department said he will be remembered fondly by colleagues and students alike.
