As the Director of Studies at BELS Malta, Arianna Muscat leads the academic team for corporate, online and in-house English lessons. Since joining BELS in 2014 as an ELT teacher, she has gained hands-on experience in academic management, teacher training and curriculum development.
“A key focus of my role – and a personal passion – is integrating technology and innovation into language learning, through the use of AI, VR and other classroom tools. Equally important to me is ensuring that teachers feel supported and have everything they need to deliver quality lessons. I believe this is the foundation of a successful educational experience and I’m committed to providing the guidance, resources and professional development opportunities that empower our team,” she says.
Ms Muscat also leads the corporate training efforts, delivering MFHEA-certified courses on industry-specific topics and designing tailored programmes to improve communication and efficiency in companies. These include high-level training for management teams, developed through detailed needs analysis and collaboration with leadership.
“My goal? To foster a positive and inspiring learning environment where both students and teachers can thrive,” she explains.
