Malta-based oil and gas company MedservRegis plc has announced its co-option of Monica De Oliveira Vilabril as a new Non-executive Director.

Her appointment will be valid until the conclusion of its next annual general meeting.

Ms De Oliveira Vilabril is a Swiss resident, who previously also served as a Non-executive Director at Regis Holdings, which entered into a strategic agreement with Medserv earlier this year to bring the companies together.

This deal gave way to the founding of Malta Stock Exchange listed MedservRegis.

Aside from her new position at MedservRegis, she also holds a role as Business Operations Optimisation Consultant at Mauritius-based International Assurance Ltd PCC.

She will bring to bear at MedservRegis skills gained during her distinguished career, which included a seven year stint as COO at South Africa-based Fairheads Benefit Services.

Aside from the directorship, she will also take a role on MedservRegis’ audit committee.
