Hili Ventures reported a profit before tax of €69.6 million for the financial year ended 31st December 2025, as revenue increased by 7.6 per cent year-on-year to reach €1.17 billion.

The Malta-based group said its total assets exceeded €1.2 billion during the year, while total equity grew by nearly 6 per cent to just under €300 million. According to the company, this was supported by continued investment and efforts to strengthen its balance sheet.

Several milestones were recorded across the group's portfolio in 2025. Premier Capital, which operates McDonald's restaurants across six markets, opened its 200th outlet, with the milestone marked by the opening of the Mrieħel restaurant in Malta. Meanwhile, Apple Premium Reseller iSpot expanded its network in Poland to 51 stores, becoming the largest Apple Premium Reseller operating within a single European country.

During the year, Hili Ventures also acquired a stake in Bank of Valletta as part of its investment strategy.

Commenting on the results, Chairman Archie Bethel said the group continued to strengthen its businesses despite a challenging international environment.

“2025 was another year of measured progress for Hili Ventures as we continued to strengthen our businesses in a demanding global environment. These results reflect the resilience of our operations, the strength of our leadership teams and the commitment of more than 12,500 people across the group,” he said.

Looking ahead, the company said it intends to continue expanding in 2026. Premier Capital plans to open 15 additional restaurants across its six markets, while iSpot is expected to add three new stores in Poland. Hili Ventures also said it will place greater emphasis on its role as a capital allocation platform, focusing on long-term value creation across its portfolio.

Founded in Malta, Hili Ventures operates across Europe and North Africa in sectors including food service, retail, real estate, hospitality, shipping, engineering and technology. The group partners with global brands including Apple, McDonald's, Microsoft and Konecranes and employs around 13,000 people.
