The Malta Digital Innovation Authority (MDIA) has once again been awarded the prestigious HR Quality Mark by the Foundation for Human Resources Development (FHRD). In a significant milestone, MDIA has been named the Highest Overall Achiever in the eight intake.

This achievement reflects the MDIA’s strategic focus on cultivating a workplace where innovation is driven by people. As Malta’s national authority for digital innovation, the MDIA continues to lead by example, demonstrating that technological advancement and human-centred values go hand in hand.

The HR Quality Mark is conferred upon organisations that meet rigorous standards in HR strategy, employee engagement, talent development and organisational culture. MDIA’s top ranking in this intake is the result of a consistent and deliberate effort to embed best practices across all levels of the organisation.

The success is attributed to the collective effort of the MDIA team, whose resilience, drive, and shared purpose have shaped a workplace that values people as its greatest asset. Special commendation goes to the HR team for their dedication to continuous improvement and strategic alignment, which played a pivotal role in securing this outstanding result.

Commenting on the achievement, Mr Clinton Pace, Chief Operations Officer, stated that, “This recognition is a testament to the MDIA’s unwavering belief that productivity flourishes when people are empowered. We are proud to foster a culture that puts people at the heart of progress.”

From onboarding and development to wellbeing and inclusion, the MDIA’s HR practices are designed to support individual growth and contribution. By investing in people-first practices, the Authority is not only enhancing its internal capabilities but also contributing to a broader ecosystem of innovation, resilience and sustainable growth.

As it celebrates this milestone, the MDIA reaffirms its commitment to nurturing a workplace where people thrive and looks forward to building on this success to continue setting the standard for excellence in both digital innovation and organisational culture.
