Julian Diacono is the Cluster Commercial Director for Hilton in Malta, with over 36 years of experience in the local hospitality industry. His career has taken him through leadership roles at top hotel brands and local tourism industry entities including Corinthia, Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, Westin, Malta International Airport, Malta Hotels Restaurant Association, and the Grand Hotel Excelsior.

Since joining Hilton in 2004, Mr Diacono has gone from overseeing sales functions to driving commercial operations, first across the Hilton Malta and now both of the group’s Maltese properties, focusing on revenue management, sales, and marketing.

His approach is very much people-focused and strategic – driving growth by ensuring teams can deliver exceptional guest experiences. Mr Diacono has been involved in the expansion of the portfolio, including the launch of DoubleTree by Hilton in Qawra. As a team, they champion innovation and sustainability across their operations.
