Hermanos Burgers, the Maltese burger brand founded by entrepreneur Vincenzo Rapisarda, is gearing up for international growth as it launches a global franchising model aimed at expanding beyond Malta’s shores.
The brand has confirmed that its next international stop is Turkey, although this does not yet signal the opening of a new outlet.
“At the moment, we’re launching a potential franchising model for our existing Hermanos Burgers outlets in Malta and for international expansion,” Mr Rapisarda tells WhosWho.mt.
He clarifies that the mention of Turkey “refers to our participation in an exhibition there, where we’ll be presenting the brand to potential partners.”
“It’s part of our global franchising push rather than a confirmed store opening,” he adds.
Describing the decision to engage with the Turkish market, Mr Rapisarda highlights the country’s strong cultural and geographical position.
“Turkey represents an exciting bridge between Europe and the Middle East, with a vibrant food culture and a growing appetite for bold, international concepts. As we expand Hermanos Burgers globally, we see Turkey as a strategic hub to connect our Mediterranean roots with a broader international audience.”
He adds that the country’s thriving hospitality scene and established franchise network make it an ideal place to begin conversations with potential partners.
“We were drawn to Turkey not only for its dynamic F&B landscape but also for the strong franchise and hospitality network in cities like Istanbul and Izmir. Participating in an exhibition there allows us to meet partners who share our vision of bringing a fun, high-energy burger experience to new markets.”
