Alistair Mangion has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Computime Holdings plc, coinciding with a significant milestone for the Maltese ICT industry as the company launched an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of €10 million in November.

He replaces Andrew Borg, who will retain his post on the board as Executive Director until the next annual general meeting, with a view to taking on a non-executive capacity thereafter.

Mr Mangion, who first joined Computime in 2004, is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA in Technology Management from Grenoble Graduate School of Business. From 2016 to the end of 2024, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company.

According to a press release, in the role of CFO, Mr Mangion worked closely with Mr Borg and under his guidance played a key role in implementing the corporate processes and restructuring needed to secure a listing on the Malta Stock Exchange and mobilise the Computime group for the next phase of its strategic development.

The Board expressed its “continued confidence in the Group’s leadership, composed of seasoned executives who have worked together for the last two decades to drive Computime’s growth – and with the helm of the Group in the hands of an executive team having such a deep understanding of the culture, vision and ambition of Computime, the Board looks forward to years of sustained success.”

The Board took the opportunity to publicly extend its gratitude to Mr Borg, who is the “last of the original four shareholders of Computime Holdings plc. to retire from full-time service, and looks forward to his continued contribution at Board level, in a non-executive capacity.”

Under Mr Borg’s leadership and unwavering dedication, the Group said it achieved “remarkable growth and success.”

The Group added that his legacy sets a strong foundation for the future, and for the growth to be sought under the stewardship of the Group’s new CEO and the Computime executive team.
