Peristyle Restaurant, a family-run business in Rabat situated opposite the Domvs Romana, will re-open on Tuesday 21st January (tomorrow) after a sudden closure that left patrons and followers concerned.
On Thursday 16th January, the management of the restaurant announced that it would be closed “effective immediately due to unforeseen circumstances.”
While apologising for any inconvenience caused, the management warned that messages would not be answered at once, fuelling further worry.
With Monday’s news that it would be re-opening, Peristyle Restaurant’s management said it is “thrilled” to once again be able to welcome patrons, and thanked its followers for the messages and queries during its short closure.
Peristyle Restaurant is a popular spot that attracts varied clientele thanks to its excellent location and its traditional food, including a unique style of pastizzi made with Maltese cheeselets (ġbejna).
