Local furniture company C.Fino & Sons Limited has announced the death of Senior Director Lawrence Fino.

Widely regarded as more than just a leader, Mr Fino was described by his colleagues as a “guiding light” within the company. His lifelong dedication to the family business, paired with his passion for excellence and his genuine kindness, left a lasting impression on everyone who worked alongside him.

“He will be dearly missed, but his vision and values will continue to guide us every day,” the post read.

Tributes quickly followed, with colleagues and friends expressing their condolences.

C.Fino & Sons Limited was established in 1935 by a young Carmelo Fino. In his workshop in Gwardamanġa he made pieces of loose furniture for his customers. By time his sons joined him, and the family business began producing household furniture.

Later on, in the early 1970s Carmelo along with his sons Lawrence and Anthony moved to Mrieħel where the workshop eventually transformed into a fully-fledged factory employing craftsmen and using industrial machinery.

Today, C. Fino & Sons Limited remains a household name in Malta’s furniture and home-furnishing industry, recognised for its quality, craftsmanship and commitment to innovation.
