OFICI started life in 2008, originally as Office Point. It rebranded in 2017 to better reflect its innovative approach to the office supplies sector. “Since then,” Mr Abela says, “we have become synonymous with quality and modernity, underpinned by our belief that the relatively small size of the Maltese market should not impact the quality of the products made available to the offices that are powering the country’s economy.”

He adds that, throughout this journey, he was supported by a “great team” and relied on the skills and experiences he gathered from previous roles in the shipping and hospitality industries. “This has helped me establish a dynamic company offering innovative office supplies solutions that are tailor-made to everyone’s need,” Mr Abela asserts.
