TradeMalta launches Malta International Business Awards 2024

Applications are open for these four categories - Best SME Exporter, Best Large Exporter, Best High Potential Exporter, Best Emerging Markets Exporter. The category winners and the overall winner will be announced at the awards night which will be held on 29th November 2024.  The evening will be a celebration of the diversification and strengths of Malta’s international business community, across multiple sectors.

TradeMalta has established itself within the local scene, as the foremost promotor of international trade. Successful and ambitious businesses, quickly outgrow the Maltese market, and soon find themselves looking towards the internationalisation route. However, this can be quite a daunting task, especially for entrepreneurs with no prior experience, or contacts in their intended market.

TradeMalta is specialised in assisting businesses through its team of experienced professionals, who offer a range of services tailored to their needs from assessing markets, perfecting their product, and many more steps that are needed along the way.

Winning any of the awards will not only bring about much deserved recognition but will also serve as a powerful marketing tool enhancing the winners’ brand visibility and credibility in the industry; act as a catalyst for team motivation and enhance employee morale.

Apart from this TradeMalta and the MIBAs are going the extra mile by way of attractive prizes for all the winners.

In fact, TradeMalta assists eligible companies, with a maximum financial grant of €30,000 per year, which is raised by an additional €10,000 for the winners of all four categories. The overall winner will receive an additional €20,000.

This funding is aimed at assisting businesses to expedite their internationalisation ambitions.  Furthermore, all four category winners will win a flight ticket to Dubai with the overall winner winning an additional flight ticket.

TradeMalta will also finance and produce a short corporate video for each of the finalists, which will be aired during the Awards night. This video will in turn be gifted to the finalists to use freely in their promotional efforts, after the gala evening.

Winners will also be allowed to make use of the official MIBA logo on their marketing, while a commemorative trophy will be given to the winners, in recognition for their distinguished performance.

The awards ceremony promises to be an evening of acknowledgement and networking among the elite of Malta's business scene.

Applications are open till the end of May, and further details on the application process together with rules and regulations are accessible on the MIBA website
