On Tuesday (today), the team behind Naxxar’s Victory Butcher announced the passing of Salvu Grech, a beloved family member and a "pillar" of the butcher shop.
Mr Grech was described as a loving father, devoted grandfather, and a cherished great-grandfather.
“His life was a testament to hard work, commitment, perseverance and humility,” the business wrote.
The butcher shop noted that he touched its members’ lives in so many ways, and his memory will live on in their hearts forever.
The funeral will be held on Friday 16th August at 4pm at Collegiate of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Naxxar Parish Church. During the day, the shop will be closed and will open as usual on Saturday.
