Business Profile

I am the Chief Business Development Officer at MAPFRE MSV Life p.l.c., responsible for directing and coordinating the design, establishment and optimisation of the business development value chain. I am a member of the Executive Management Committee of MAPFRE MSV Life and a member of the Steering Committee of MAPFRE Malta.

I have directed the commercial development of MAPFRE MSV Life’s pensions business, including the successful launch of the MAPFRE MSV Life WorkSave Pension Scheme. MAPFRE MSV is today one of the main players in the provision of private pensions in Malta.

With a career spanning three decades in the banking sector, I have held senior management positions, including membership on the Executive Committee at Bank of Valletta. I have also served as Director of MAPFRE MSV Life p.l.c. and chaired the Executive Committee of the Malta Banker’s Association. I represented the bank at various international organisations, including the Co-ordination Committee of the European Savings Banks Group (ESBG). I was also a member of the EFMA Operational Efficiency Advisory Council.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and have earned Master’s Degrees in European Studies and Integrated Marketing Communications. I am an Associate of the Trinity College of London.
