Business Profile

First joining the M. Demajo Group in 1978 as Secretary to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, I later served as his Personal Assistant and was subsequently appointed Director with M. Demajo (Services) Ltd in 2005 with responsibility for the Group’s Human Resources. I also served as Chair and Executive Member on the board of the Group’s ICT Division, Toyshops Ltd and Multi Packaging Ltd. In 2010, I was appointed Executive Director of Joseph Cachia & Son Ltd , of which I am now Managing Director. Following my nominations for the Malta Businesswoman of the Year Awards for 2022, I have been presented with three prestigious awards, namely Best Contribution in Business Service, Best Businesswoman in Management, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Joseph Cachia & Son Ltd is a 12-person strong entity backed by M. Demajo Group’s Corporate Services, that has continued growing and leading fundamental projects within the fields of energy, data communications, the environment, money handling, queuing and security products, among others, with the aim of introducing technological advances on the islands to improve the day-to-day life of the average Maltese.

‘’I think it is an integral part of our DNA. We always feel we want to give back, we want to participate and invest in Malta’s growth and its economy. In fact, we are contributing to the country’s circular economy and green initiatives through the introduction of Malta’s first Reverse Vending Machines, for better waste management of single use beverage containers.’’
