I first was contacted by MRecruitment when I was living and working in Dubai as an ‘Accounts Coordinator’. I joined the agency in August 2019 upon arriving to Malta. The company was quite small when I started, we had around 30 subcontracted employees – my responsibilities consisted of both accounts and payroll in fact. After an absence of work due to pregnancy, I returned to find a larger workforce and increasingly demanding responsibilities. Additionally, there were new staff members, which meant the potentiality of introducing more roles. There had been clearly a big shift within the company and after a few discussions, my role was changed completely. I was tasked with the responsibility of managing the Work Permit Application process for all our foreign applicants. With the company size constantly increasing, (currently at 180 subcontracted employees), I was provided with the help of an executive.
A year on, we have become a strong, efficient team and the work permit and visa application process is also now being offered to corporate organisations under ‘Permit Hub’.
