Business Profile

As CEO, I am responsible for setting the strategic direction and execution of the company’s strategic plan. In this leadership role, together with the senior management team, I am also responsible for the management of the day-to-day business operations. During my twenty-plus years in the industry, I have had the opportunity to assume various roles of responsibility within the MAPFRE Group in Malta. In the initial years of my career, my focus was on investments portfolio management. In 2012, I moved into Risk Management where I served as Chief Risk Officer for MAPFRE Malta until my appointment to the role of CEO of MAPFRE MSV LIFE plc. I served in this challenging and fulfilling role for three and a half years until December 2024, prior to taking up my current role.
