I am an advocate for all things beautiful. Drawn to aesthetic medicine following my graduation as a medical doctor, today I am the primary Aesthetic Physician in the med-aesthetic clinic I own, People&Skin. Overseeing every aspect of the business, I lead the team in keeping up to date with developments in the industry standard, marketing efforts, human resources and financials.
Yet, my business skills don’t stop at the clinic’s door: I am an avid supporter of local artists and musicians, both up-and-coming and established, while I work tirelessly to promote artists on the island as Head of Advisory Board at Valletta Contemporary Art Galleries. Through People&Skin, I am also proud to sponsor – among others – art exhibitions, classical music performances and fashion events.
In whatever I set my mind to, I strive for gender equality – and my quest goes far beyond my clinic. As a vocal women’s rights activist, I relentlessly pursue the normalisation of equality between genders through empowerment, vocalisation and validation. Alongside scientific professionalism, these values form the foundation upon which I have built my business.
I am also an advocate of Maltese architecture, with a passion for properties in Valletta. From an early age, I embraced the brimming potential of buildings in the centuries-old city, and to date have seven property renovations under my belt – one of which I call ‘home’.
