Lombard Bank Malta plc announced three new appointments through the Malta Stock Exchange.
Starting Friday 1st December 2023 (tomorrow) Moira Balzan will take the role of Chief Financial Officer of the Bank, replacing Aurelio Theuma.
In addition, Helena Said was appointed as Chief Legal Officer of the Bank, replacing Paul Debono.
On the other hand, Antoinette Fenech took on the role of Head of Internal Audit at the Bank to replace Joan Aquilina.
Mr Theuma, Dr Debono and Ms Aquilina’s replacements are coming into effect after having reached retirement age. Despite so, they will all be retained as consultants.
“The Bank thanks Mr Theuma, Dr Debono and Ms Aquilina for their commitment to and contribution over the year,” Lombard Bank remarked.
All required regulatory approvals have been sought and received.
