Justin John Camilleri has been named Chief Business Development Officer at Malta Food Agency, he shared on Thursday.
His professional history includes serving as Managing Partner at business management consultancy brand Paggi Corporate Services, as well as Business and Management Consultant on a self-employed basis.
While Mr Camilleri’s career commenced in the manufacturing industry as an Electronical Assembler at Delta (Malta) Ltd and Machine Operator at Consolidated Biscuit Co. Ltd, he eventually progressed to more senior roles, including Head of Exports at the latter. His experience also includes two-and-a-half years as Business Development Manager at pharmaceutical packaging firm Lewis Press Ltd and nine months as Chairperson of the Young Chamber Network at The Malta Chamber.
Mr Camilleri holds a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from Henley Business School and a Diploma in Management from Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), among other qualifications. Additionally, he is a fellow member of the ILM and was granted an award in employment law by the Academy of Business Leaders.
Malta Food Agency is a Government organisation that was established in 2021 with the aim of having locally produced food from farming and fishing of higher value. It works to “support and strengthen” the transformation of food along the value chain, supporting sales and marketing from production, trading, processing, and food manufacturing.
