As a result of the financial sector experiencing a significant increase in the integration of climate risk, environmental, social and governance factors in investment decision-making process, Bloomberg is to host its first sustainable finance seminar in Malta.

In its Global Environment, Social and Governmental ESG) 2020 Outlook, Bloomberg Intelligence believes that stakeholder pressure, continued out performance and rising climate concerns will push investors and companies to take a more aggressive approach to environmental, social and governance issues in 2020.

To address this fast-growing trend, Bloomberg is organising its first ESG focused seminar in Malta, where a number of esteemed guest speakers and industry professionals will take part.

During the seminar, there will be a panel discussion on the current and future of sustainable investing, covering the upcoming EU taxonomy regulation and addressing the issue of green washing.

The seminar will also be an opportunity for the Bloomberg specialists to present the Bloomberg ESG solutions and how they can be applied in portfolio analytics and quantitative analytics.

The event will take place on 4th March at the Westin Dragonara, St Julian's.
