Rogolin, a beloved traditional Maltese bakery in the heart of Balzan, is closing its doors at the end of the month.
The bakery’s owners had been telling clients they plan to close down for weeks and had placed the building on the market but they have now made the news official.
“We regret to announce that we will cease operations on 31st March,” Rogolin said. “We would like to thank our clients who always appreciated our services, as well as all the organisations we served. Everything was always made from the heart.”
A family-run bakery, its current owners have been running the business for the past 12 and a half years.
Besides the quality of its bread, Rogolin was also renowned for its community work, which included charity initiatives for Puttinu Cares.
