An art exhibition featuring works created by members of S.T.A.N.D., an organisation promoting the abilities of persons with disabilities, is being held, with all proceeds from painting sales going towards The Malta Trust Foundation.

The exhibition, titled Heart to Art, is taking place between 10th and 30th October 2026 at the Nestlé Consumer Centre on Pantar Road, Lija, with an event scheduled for Thursday 15th October.

The initiative, supported by APS Bank, showcases artwork produced by members of S.T.A.N.D. (Striving Towards Ability Not Disability), showing  their creativity while raising funds to support the work of The Foundation.

Josette Fenech, an artist, exhibition curator and volunteer with S.T.A.N.D. alongside her husband and daughter, highlighted the significance of the initiative, particularly the efforts of those involved in producing the artwork.

"What makes this exhibition so special is that these amazing people, with their own hands and hearts, have created beautiful things with the intention of helping others and supporting The Malta Trust Foundation," she said.

Ms Fenech encouraged members of the public to visit the exhibition and consider purchasing one of the artworks, noting that each piece reflects the dedication and creativity of its maker.

"Every piece carries a special meaning, a lot of effort, and a beautiful message of kindness, inclusion and generosity," she remarked.

"Because art is not only about creating something beautiful, but also about making a difference."

All proceeds generated from the sale of paintings will be donated to The Malta Trust Foundation, which supports initiatives aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals.

Members of the public can visit the exhibition from Monday to Thursday between 8am and 3pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays between 8am and noon, until 30th October.
