Alex Tabone has been promoted to Director at Tabone Enterprises Malta Ltd. While he made the announcement on Thursday, his new position came into effect last January.

Prior to this new role, he worked as Project Manager at the outdoor furniture distribution company for four years.

He is tasked with developing and maintaining a “strong company culture” that reflects its “values and priorities”, while also monitoring industry trends and developments, as well as ensuring the company is “well positioned to take advantage of new opportunities”.

Mr Tabone describes himself as passionate about “leading and developing teams to achieve their full potential”. He believes in open and transparent communication, collaboration, and empowering his colleagues to “drive positive change”.

He holds an Officer in Charge of Navigational Watch Licence from MCAST and has prior experience in the maritime sector.

Tabone Enterprises Malta Ltd has roots from the early 1970s, when it was originally called Tabone Imports. It first specialised in electronic items, yet then slowly expanded into the household and hardware sectors. The company was formed in 1977 as Tabone Enterprises Ltd, before it was then turned into Tabone Enterprises Malta Ltd in 1996 following a restructuring process. Given its operations are in Malta means it is in an “ideal location” to serve both Europe and North Africa.
