While people begin to grow notably restless over the social distancing measures and stay-at-home advice in place, Winebox Inc. and wine specialist Aaron Rizzo are reminding the public that savouring a glass of wine after work with friends doesn’t have to be a thing of the past.

Together, a series of virtual wine tasting events have been created, taking place on Friday’s at 8.30 pm, streamed on Facebook and hosted by Mr Rizzo, who welcomes a different guest every time.

Most guests will be national or international wine producers, with the first to take place this Friday 24th April. Over 200 wine lovers are to attend and will receive four French bottles of wine to their home to enjoy during the live-stream.

The events are held in English and are aimed at everyone, not only those with a wealth of knowledge about wines. The wines that will be tasted are announced beforehand, allowing viewers to buy them and taste them along with the hosts.

Topics revolve around wine but also the producers’ personal lives and their recent experiences during lockdown.

The tone is casual and the goal is to not only promote national and international wines but also help keep people positive during these strange times we are all living.
