The Malta Freeport Terminals is once again a “proud” sponsor of the Birzebbuga Sailing Club and its Summer Sailing Academy, hailing it for the “invaluable work" it carries out "with young people”.

The sailing club organises courses at all levels, led by experienced coaches for those aged six and upwards.

Malta Freeport Terminals CEO Alex Montebello recently presented the company’s sponsorship cheque to Sailing Club Commodore Mario Aquilina in the presence of Club Secretary Alfred Fenech.

The sailing club’s TeamMalta sailors are currently taking part in the Optimist European Championship 2021, held in Cadiz, Spain.
