Viviana Premazzi is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of GMD, which stands for Global Mindset Development. “This,” she affirms, “has been my aim since the beginning: helping people to develop an open and curious mindset to enjoy the diversity around them.”

For the past 12 years, before moving to Malta, she had been working as a consultant and trainer on diversity and inclusion, anti-racism, anti-discrimination, migration and integration for corporations and not-for-profit organisations in Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East.

She is Senior Lecturer in Cultural Intelligence at the University of Malta and lectures in other business schools, colleges and universities around Europe on topics related to cultural diversity, international business, communication and negotiation. “My aim is always to bridge research with practice and fieldwork.”

Ms Premazzi has  worked in more than 50 countries and lived in Brazil, Canada, Italy, Portugal, The Netherlands and the US before falling in love with Malta where she set up her social enterprise, GMD.
