As Chief People and Administration Officer at St John’s Co-Cathedral, with nearly 30 years of experience in Human Resources and Finance, Kevin Attard has developed extensive knowledge in the fields of strategic management and is passionate about helping people within the organisation to become the best version of themselves.

He began his career in the Accounts Department of a courier company before transitioning to a marketing agency. There, he was tasked with establishing both the Accounting and Human Resources departments. His leadership and initiative led to his promotion as Chief Financial Officer and Human Resources Manager, roles he held for 17 years. During this time, he also engaged in freelance work, co-founded a boutique digital and magazine agency, and served as Company Secretary across these ventures.

In his current role as Chief People Officer, Mr Attard has been responsible for building the HR Department from the ground up, while also overseeing the day-to-day visitor operations at the Co-Cathedral. His efforts have contributed to the organisation being awarded the FHRD Quality Mark and the NCPE Equality Mark.

Mr Attard holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA Executive) with a specialisation in Human Resources and a Diploma in Management, both from the University of Malta. He also holds MQF Level 5 and 7 qualifications in Employment Law.
