Saviour Zammit joined Medelec in 1988 and was appointed General Manager in 2014, being responsible for the company’s overall administration.

“I have 35+ years’ experience in the electricity sector, covering generation, contracts engineering, distribution, design, manufacturing and project management. I was in charge of the company’s associate in Libya from 2007 till my local appointment,” he notes.

Medelec Switchgear Ltd. was founded in 1977 and started its primary operations as an assembly plant for distribution switchgear and transformers under licence from GEC of England.
