Samantha Reed’s experience in the retail fashion sector spans over 30 years and has now led her to oversee a medium-sized operation of a 20+ strong team.

In Design (Malta) Ltd has made its mark in the School and Uniforms Market, with over 25 years of experience in the garment trade.

“The company I manage is among the major local players in the uniforms industry,” says Ms Reed.

“I am active in overseeing our sourcing and tendering divisions, giving me broad knowledge of manufacturing and supply in the Far East, the Middle East and Europe, travelling to various factories and exhibitions overseas.”

Among many satisfactory projects over the years, Ms Reed cites the supply of silk ties and scarves, given to all European leaders and diplomats during the Malta Presidency of the EU, as being the most prestigious contract she oversaw.

“As a General Manager, my skills have to be fluid and adaptable, and I take great interest in learning about best practices to create a win-win-win environment within the company, benefiting clients, the team and stakeholders.”
