Starting his career as a Junior Brand Manager for V.J. Salomone, local distributors for world leading P&G brands, and quickly developing a passion for working with big brands, Michael Said then worked closely with the renowened Estee-Lauder brands, even being directly involved in launching the prestigious Tom Ford brand locally.
He eventually joined the Dean Gera team, developing his role over the years and now being responsible for the operational side of the business.
“The role requires a high attention to detail as well as meticulous planning and determination to constantly strive for improvement and achieve service-excellence,” he explains.
“My background as a brand manager focusing on multinational brands allowed me to acquire a deep understanding of how brands work and develop over time while a deep-rooted passion for brands allows me to strive for perfection when executing the development of brands, most recently the deangerashop.com brand,” he continues.
The Dean Gera brand was launched in 2007, initially operating as a sole trader with one assistant. For the next three years founder Dean Gera, who was born into a family of hairdressers, focused on building a strong reputation and client base and the high demand for his propelled the opening of two new salons and the Dean Gera company was incorporated in 2010.
