“I have extensive experience and expertise in the internationalisation of SMEs, of both a theoretical and a practical nature, having accumulated knowledge of upstream activities in the textile industry and downstream in the FMCG sector,” Klaus M. Pedersen says.

His knowledge in the field was further strengthened by offering consultation and assistance to exporters and from having taught internationalisation as an academic subject at tertiary level. Mr Pedersen, who is country representative in Malta of Danes worldwide, is guest lecture in the Internationalisation of SMEs at the University of Malta, the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology and the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry.

His specialities include outsourcing and procurement, export sales and brand-building in FMCG, branding and market development in Sub-Saharan Africa, the internationalisation of SMEs as well as trade and investment promotion.
