Under the leadership of Sebastian de Giorgio, Executive Director of JoinwellFxb, the company is set to expand its reach and redefine the customer experience in the furniture and home solutions industry.

JoinwellFxb’s decision to establish a new showroom is a strategic move aimed at enhancing accessibility and convenience for customers. The central location in Imrieħel provides excellent connectivity, ensuring that clients can easily visit and explore the latest offerings.

According to Sebastian, the showroom is designed to be more than just a retail space; it offers a fully immersive experience. “The showroom will be a one-stop shop that brings together all our furniture suppliers, along with our subsidiaries: WaterArt Bathrooms and Econetique Energy Solutions. We will also have a dedicated commercial department to cater to businesses and large-scale projects,” he explained.

The new showroom will provide a walkthrough experience, featuring an intuitive and inviting layout that allows customers to explore furniture and home solutions in a natural and inspiring way. It will also include a soft furnishings area and specialised technical spaces, creating an all-encompassing shopping experience.

Additionally, the showroom will boast cutting-edge meeting rooms, equipped with advanced technology, AR solutions, and interactive screens, enabling in-depth consultations and virtual walkthroughs for those seeking tailored solutions.

To further enhance convenience, the showroom is set to offer customer-friendly facilities, such as internal parking for a hassle-free and enjoyable visit.

JoinwellFxb has always been committed to sustainability, and the new showroom will reflect this dedication. The building is designed to meet LEED certification standards, incorporating eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient solutions.

Several key sustainability initiatives have been integrated into the showroom. Solar energy is a major focus, with solar panels set to be installed on the roof and plans to add more at the front of the building to maximise renewable energy usage. To further improve energy efficiency, the showroom will feature advanced lighting systems that optimise energy consumption, along with EV parking spaces to support the growing shift towards electric mobility.

Additionally, a rainwater reuse system will be implemented to reduce water wastage and promote sustainability, reinforcing JoinwellFxb’s commitment to environmentally responsible solutions.

‘‘Through our partnership with Econetique, JoinwellFxb is integrating cutting-edge energy solutions such as heat pumps, solar panels, and underfloor heating,’’ adds Sebastian. ‘‘This initiative aligns with the company’s long-term vision of offering high-quality, durable, and sustainable home solutions.”

Like any large-scale project, the development of the new showroom came with challenges.

‘‘One of the main obstacles is managing industry-wide deadline pressures. However, we're successfully navigating these hurdles through strategic planning, close collaboration with teams and partners, and a focus on optimising the showroom’s layout to ensure seamless customer navigation.”

Looking ahead, the company is investing heavily in AI solutions and digital consultation spaces to adapt to modern purchasing trends. With more customers looking for home visits, virtual consultations, and online shopping experiences, JoinwellFxb is ensuring it remains at the forefront of industry advancements.

As JoinwellFxb embarks on this exciting phase of growth, leadership plays a crucial role in steering the company towards continued success. To strengthen its position, Sebastian de Giorgio has appointed Robert Cauchi as the new CEO of JoinwellFxb.

Robert brings over 30 years of experience in executive leadership and operations, making him an ideal choice to drive the company forward. His leadership philosophy is rooted in efficiency, team excellence, and customer satisfaction – values that align perfectly with JoinwellFxb’s long-standing reputation for quality and innovation.

‘‘In his new role, Robert will focus on strengthening internal relationships by creating a collaborative and motivated team culture. He is also prioritising enhancing efficiency and streamlining operations to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction. Additionally, he will work towards upholding the JoinwellFxb legacy, ensuring the brand continues to be synonymous with craftsmanship, durability, and innovation.”

JoinwellFxb is not stopping at the showroom launch. The company has a comprehensive expansion strategy in place, driven by its recent merger with FXB. This partnership grants access to two large manufacturing plants in Gozo, significantly strengthening production capabilities.

JoinwellFxb has several key initiatives planned for the future. The company aims to expand its soft furnishings range by developing strategic partnerships to strengthen this offering.

‘‘We are also focused on growing the doors and apertures division, enhancing both selection and availability. Additionally, the company is dedicated to scaling up commercial projects, developing our contracting division to take on larger ventures. Sustainability remains a priority, with ongoing efforts to integrate sustainable energy solutions.’’

Looking beyond local markets, the company is actively exploring international expansion, leveraging its high-quality products and industry expertise to introduce JoinwellFxb to new regions.

Sebastian emphasises that this is just the beginning. “JoinwellFxb is committed to continuous innovation, customer satisfaction, and industry leadership. With our expanded showroom, sustainable initiatives, and a strong leadership team led by Robert, we are excited for what the future holds.’’
