Lascaris Vodka, a Maltese vodka brand founded by three entrepreneurs, has been awarded Gold at the Craft Spirits Berlin Awards and was also named Best in Class in the Vodka Category.
The recognition places the Malta-based brand among international craft spirits producers recognised by the Berlin competition, which evaluates spirits from across the globe.
The company was founded by three friends with the aim of developing a high-quality vodka brand originating from Malta. According to the company, the product is produced using filtered spring water sourced from the Rhodope Mountains and A-grade agricultural corn.
The vodka undergoes five distillation cycles through charcoal filtration, a process intended to refine its flavour profile and achieve a smooth finish.
The Craft Spirits Berlin Awards are an international competition focused on craft distilleries and independent spirits producers, assessing products based on criteria such as aroma, taste, balance and overall quality.
