Gordon Farrugia has been involved in family businesses for 16 years, operating in various industries, mainly in the transport and tourism sectors.

Over the years, he designed a number of marketing campaigns. “I consider innovative thinking, which helped me design original campaigns and diversify services throughout the years, to be among the key contributing factors to my career,” Mr Farrugia admits.

With long experience in the transport industry under his belt, he left the family business in early 2017 and acquired a small car rental division, developing it into a market leader.

First Car Rental provides first-class car hire and caters for both holidaymakers and those visiting Malta on business. It has a car hire desk at Malta International Airport and in various locations across the island.
