Kevin Chircop, who is the Executive Chairman of Enemed Company Ltd, as well as the Chairman of Enemalta plc, strives to ensure that Enemed Company Ltd’s vision, as laid down by the Board of Directors, is translated in everyday tasks that the whole team implements.

“I am extremely hands-on and rarely give instructions. On the contrary, I consider myself a mentor to my team.”

“I like to know what is going on at every level. It is important to me that our team feels ready to be the best possible; I want everyone to come to work feeling motivated and enthusiastic," Mr Chetcuti said.

Mr Chircop has been Executive Chairman at Enemed since 2015. 

The ISO-certified company is responsible for the importation, distribution and wholesale of petroleum products in Malta. A subsidiary of the state-owned Petromal Company Ltd, it also offers storage facilities to third parties.

Its declared mission is to develop, store and provide clearer, safer and superior quality fuels, exceed customer expectations, increase shareholder value and create the best working environment for its team.

In fact, the Executive Chairman dedicates a lot of attention to the team and makes it appoint not only to see what its members are doing at work but also beyond.

“I am not just interested in what they’re doing at work but also outside of work. Are they happy? Is there anything stopping them from doing their job properly?

 “I consider the whole team to be part of my own family and, if I can help them, I will.”

Mr Chircop has an MBA degree from the Henley Business School.
