Claire Domancich joined Alter Domus in March 2017, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

“In my current role,” she explains, “I am responsible for leading a diverse client portfolio across various segments. This entails overseeing client deliverables and cultivating strong commercial relationships. Additionally, I serve on the boards of key clients, including private equity, asset holding and real estate companies that cater to private clients.”

A Certified Accountant and Auditor, Ms Domancich obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (Hons) from the University of Malta. She is also affiliated with the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA) and her expertise encompasses auditing, accounting, and controls assurance work.

“I possess a strong command of IFRS and Malta accounting standards and regulatory framework,” she asserts.

She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Malta, where she conducted audits for well-established international private equity, investment and real estate clients. She worked extensively with local clients primarily in the services and manufacturing industries. Over the course of her 10-year tenure at PwC, Ms Domancich had the opportunity to work abroad with other PwC offices in Milan, Philadelphia, and Toronto.

Furthermore, she held a Director position at an international trading company with a local office in Malta where she served as a financial controller for seven years. This provided her with additional expertise and insights into financial management and control.
