A shareholder, Director and Associate of Vassallo Group Malta, Charlene Vella Vassallo is a University of Malta graduate and holds a Master’s in Law from University of London, specialising in human rights.

She is also Director at Diligex and Business Development Director within CareMalta Group.

“I administer in debt collection and sit on several group boards, aspiring to grow within the company since my return from studies and family life,” she says.

The origins of the Group date back to 1946 when the late Piju Vassallo founded a partnership with two of his nephews, initially clearing war debris from public buildings. The old partnership ended in 1965 and Mr Vassallo formed a new one. Then, in 1971, Vassallo Builders was incorporated as a limited liability company. Three years later, operations in joinery and woodworks began as a division of Vassallo Builders Ltd.

Today, Vassallo Group stands at the forefront of different sectors including property and construction, furniture and interiors, elderly and disability, catering, hospitality, architecture and education.
