Using a €500 wedding gift as an initial investment over 45 years ago, Angelo Xuereb took on any obstacle that came his way.

“AX Group is composed of 38 companies spanning the hospitality, real estate, construction, healthcare and maritime sectors and employs over 1,000 people,” he asserts.

Mr Xuereb was the first mayor of Naxxar and was named Ambassador of Knowledge by the Life Learning Academia, Slovenia, was selected Employer of the Year in 2016 and EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018.
