Former Senior Lecturer and Nurse Maria Cassar has been promoted to Associate Professor at University of Malta (UM).
On Wednesday (today), the Department of Nursing at UM extended its well wishes to Dr Cassar “on her well-earned promotion.”
“Your achievements bring great pride to our department. Well done and congratulations once more,” the department stated.
Dr Cassar has studied and received qualifications at UM, Kings College University of London and University of Aberdeen, where she read for a PhD.
For the past 16 years she has been lecturing at UM and has also been given the role of Coordinator of the Masters Programme in Nursing and Coordinator at Curriculum Development.
On LinkedIn she describes herself as being skilled in research and education in health and social care, leadership, e-learning, curriculum development and simulation education.
