Malta-based sports betting and online gaming provider Tipico Group has signed a multi-year collaboration deal with the Malta Football Association (MFA), becoming an Official Partner of the Senior Men’s National Team.
The first major moment in the partnership will be Malta’s UEFA Nations League playoff match against Luxembourg tomorrow,
a crucial fixture that could see Malta get promoted to League C for the first time since the competition was set up.
As part of the partnership, the Tipico logo will appear across several official MFA and national team assets, including official technical wear and gear, such as training tops, training sweatshirts, polo shirts, tracksuit tops, and walk-on anthem jackets.
There will also be advertising boards within the National Stadium, access to official merchandising products and tickets as well as digital and social media integrations.
Digital activation will focus on Tipico’s employer portal Tipico Careers, with an emphasis on strengthening the group’s talent acquisition.
Kajetan Strini-Brown, Director of Sports Brand & Marketing Acquisition at Tipico, said the brand and its sponsoring activities are strongly rooted in professional football.
“Furthermore Tipico is more than 20 years headquartered in Malta and employs more than 450 people on the island. That’s why we are absolutely delighted to enter this new partnership with the Maltese National Team to increase our visibility as a reliable, attractive and international employer in Malta,” he said.
Malta Football Association President Bjorn Vassallo praised Tipico as a world-renowned brand in online gaming.
“Both organisations live and love football and this augurs well for a strong collaboration. Looking forward to succeeding together both on and off the pitch,” he said.
