Thomas Agius Ferrante has been appointed Director of the five-star Grove of Narbeth hotel in the Pembrokeshire countryside in Wales.

Mr Agius Ferrante joined the hotel in 2019 as General Manager, after working at Hotel Phoenicia as Hotel Manager. Beginning his career as a kitchen chef, Mr Agius Ferrante moved into senior management roles at One Aldwych and then at The Berkeley in London, where he spent seven years at the latter as Food & Beverage Operations Manager.

In a post on Facebook, the Grove of Narbeth team wrote, “Since Thomas joined us in South West Wales, he has taken real ownership of the hotel, tightened up our operations whilst carefully maturing our service standards which is clear to see.”

“He has become a key part of our future vision for the hotel and we know he has the ambition and natural capability to keep growing with us in the years ahead,” they added. “His commitment to Grove and the wider business is unquestionable and he quickly became a mentor for so many across the collection. We simply love working with this guy.”
